K guys... i went photo crazy this time when Pandora fed, bcuz i wanna know if i should get a bigger mouse. or maybe switch to a small rat...?? im not sure, i dont know if what im feeing her now is big enough, bcuz when she swallows if you cant notice a difference at all. Does that mean the mouse is too small? check out my pics and then tell me!! (i love having a camera that zooms in)

If you are not seeing any lump at all .. it might be time to move up to a bigger mousie or consider switching over to rats. Just make sure you get something correctly sized for your snake. Right on or just a wee bit bigger than the girthiest part of your snake is perfect.

I agree, looks like you need a bigger mouse. I need to switch Soph to small adult rats, but the only ones I can find are waaaaay to big....

If you're using Adult Mice, I'd switch to Rat Pups.

just one question...why does that mouse look so wet ?
the mouse looks wet because i feed Pandora f/t mice. plus, i spray this vitamin stuff on it. it has that vitamin C in it that Pandora won't get from f/t mice, so i figured since i wasted 9 bucks on it, i'd use it all. lol...

im gona try baby rats. im not sure where i'm going to get them from, pet stores around me dont have frozen rats, and i cant kill a mouse/rat/gerbil, i dont have the heart for it. lol no whacking of rat heads on tables for me!!

Find a Petco near you. They carry frozen rat pups.

i think a little (a little) bit to big is better than too small...... the bigger the mouse/rat the more nutrition the snake gets, ever since i got rocky on adult mice he is gaining weight slowly but surely. He has come along way from the little twiggy i got him at who was eating PINKIE MICE .
