    Ok this is wierd

Last night I lifted Walters hide off him to get him out of his cage for awhile and I pull him out and was a bit taken back at his change in color. I posted some pictures a week or so ago of the day after his shed and his yellows had really dulled out and faded. Now a week after his shed the yellows are back and bright and the blushing on his head is back and maybe even more than before.

I know the lighting is a little different but to the eye in person it was a big difference like two different snakes.

The blushing on his head really lightened up, I think this is lighter than it's ever been. Does it take a week or so after a shed to really see what color changes of any are setting in?

Thanks, yea I was a bit taken back at the difference when I got him out, was like holy crap I gotta get a picture of this. Well good to know information, I was under the assumption that when they shed that was what you got and not that it may change a few days later. You learn something everyday with these guys.

Yup, im always excited when peach sheds because her coloring is more defined and her blush spots just get better and better but after her last shed i was sad, all her brightness had dulled out and then a week later just like you i lifted the hide and was shocked to see her back to her bright and colorful self

    He looks great Smitty!

Almost as if you guys have "Mood Balls", as in Mood Rings.
The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

They are crazy snakes. I do wish they didn't hide so much as they regardless of color or morph are so cool and beautiful BUT they kind of make up for it in how interesting and goofy they can be.
