Chua - My Albino Ball Python

He's about 5 years old and I haven't weighed him in AGES, as I am no longer interested in breeding. Anyway, here he is:

This recent overhead shot is after he went off feed for a couple months. I kept offering food and he'd greedily attack, but would then refuse to eat. Even live rats. Oddly enough, I tried a couple live mice and he ate them no problem, and has been accepting meals regularly (f/t rats) ever since.

And last one I have, a close up with a cheesy Instagram filter.

Chua is a great looking snake!
The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

Do you have any advice on his shedding? > have a youngling albino and don't really know if he is in preshed, I haven't had him long so I can't tell if his colors have faded much, his white seems to be more clear like instead of that pure milk white, and his eyes are a light pink lavender color but I thought albinos had red eyes and I feel like he had red eyes when we got him. Does this sound like a preshed? Sorry to ask a personal question on your post your albino is beautiful. I just need albino specific help. Again sorry for the intrusion. And yes I pay alot of attention to my snake, I just have horrible memory and second guess my self alot.

Well you're right of course , it's much harder to tell when Albinos are in shed or pre- shed .
About 70% of mine are albinos do its a constant challenge

It's usually the colours / colors that fade slightly on mine .

With Chua, his contrast between yellow and white fade a bit and his eyes go from a reddish-pink to like a blue. Sounds like yours may be shedding.
