My BP wants to get out!
So I got my normal BP like for a month now and at nights and sometimes by day she goes around pushing the lid of her tub trying to get out. Just wanted to know if I'm doing things right or should I do something else.

Re: My BP wants to get out!
Can you tell us a bit about your set up? Such as if you have a thermostat, temperatures, humidity levels, etc.
From the picture I can see that you are using dials for thermometers right? If you are I suggest switching to digital to get a more accurate reading.

This is normal behavior .
Just some tips--a second hide (one on both hot/cold side) will help him regulate his body temperature, since he doesn't have to choose to hide or be at the right temperature. Also, a digital accurite thermometer/hydrometer with an attached probe is a more accurate way of telling temperatures in the cage than the dial ones you have, and they are pretty inexpensive.

Well I got the oak barks for substrate, thinking abut switching back to aspen, got the UTH below the little hide, of course her water bowl and yeah those are petco temperature and humidity gauges. This morning I just order a temp gun. Suppose to be here around 2 to 3 days.

Didn't want to saturate the tub with big stuff but I'll be putting that's second hide, thanks.

Re: My BP wants to get out!
How are you controlling your temps? Are you using a thermostat?

Re: My BP wants to get out!
I'm using my hydrofarm thermostat. It's set up to 92°

Re: My BP wants to get out!
Once you get a better idea on your temps this might help figure out why your BP is trying to escape.
At this point your reading is inacurate since the temp should be taken at the floor level and digitaly. Heat could be a reason for your BP trying to get out.
Another factor whish is most likely is tour hide if not tight enough it may not procure optimum security.
I would personally provide a plastic flower pot saucer instead. Something tight and snug around during it's body.
