    The problem will older animals they seems to take longer to adjust to their new environment and it often translates to food refusal so even live might not do it but it is definitely worth a try.

    See if you can get her to eat, if she does give her 3 to 5 live meals and try switching again, it might not be easy and at that point you will need to use tough love especially if you are in no rush.

    Now keep in mind that older animals are older to switch however the best time to switch a reluctant female is after she lays a clutch, they usually at that point will eating anything.
