I Got a Special Treat Today! Watched a Complete Shed.

I finally got my 1 yr old Jungle Carpet, Esmarelda a little over a week ago.

She was in blue and went into her hide for 8 days.

I saw that she out and perched, so I got her food ready that was overdue.

When I opened the top, she was just starting to work on getting her old skin off at the nose!

Well this was the first time that I actually got watch in the flesh. It took about 20 minutes, half of that time was spent on just getting the head off.

After finishing, Esmarelda inspected every millimeter of herself to be sure that all went as planned.

The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

I always love finding the sheds in the cage, and very occasionally saw them working on it. Mostly I just left them to it. Honestly the sheds and feeding snakes are my two favorite parts of having them.
