To update on the situation, I changed him into a new tub and gave him a smaller hide on Saturday and he seems to like this much better! I had my first successful feeding yesterday (!!), 11 days after I got him and I'm feeling very proud. He stopped frantically roaming and trying to climb, he only really did that on day 1 and 2 in his new tub. Now he's really chill, hanging out in his hide most of the time. He seems like quite a confident snake to me, he likes to lay with his head out of the hide and just keep an eye on things. And yesterday I changed his water and a minute later, he came out to have a look at what I had been doing and then went back to sleep. I also weighed him and he was 128 grams before I fed him so still a little baby!

I was a little worried he wouldn't take f/t because his breeder had been giving him pre-killed but the little noodle is very eager to strike and ate happily so I'm quite relieved.
