    Re: Why Ball Pythons?

Got drawn back in after a long absence from the hobby and wanted a really cool looking snake that didn't get huge but was still impressive and had a good demeanor. I thinks balls are pretty much the perfect pet snakes.

They're so chill. I can sit, play video games and the snake just hangs with me. The faces are adorkable, and each has their own personalities that make them unique. I just love em.

    Re: Why Ball Pythons?

I just got my first snake. I chose a ball python because they are a good choice for beginners. He is beautiful and is very relaxed and tolerant of handling. Plus today he spent a half hour laying on my stomach before he wanted to start exploring. Such cute faces, and I think they are the perfect snake to introduce to young people to educate.

    Why Ball Pythons?

I had no interest at all. Then my daughter moved away and I got stuck with Elvira, a full adult.

I had to take care of her. I was certainly uncomfortable handling her at first.

Then I got sucked in by her Beauty, Grace, and Tranquility. The lightbulb went on and I understood the fascination with snakes.

Now I have 4 more snakes, though none of those are BPs.

But Elvira was my gateway to these gorgeous creatures called snakes.

The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

    Re: Why Ball Pythons?

I always had an interest in snakes, I persuaded my boyfriend into liking the idea of a ball python. We did all kind's of research, the more I read about them, the more I loved them. Our first snake was a butter bee male and we instantly fell in love, and into an obsession haha. I just love their personalities, and their cute little faces! Also all the morph opportunities! I just love them

I have to back the other people who say it's the face. It's always the face.

    THAT ADORABLE FACE.

Seriously, it's why I absolutely love leopard geckos and bearded dragons too.
