    It's all about what you prefer. To me butters have always had a bit more contrast between light and dark, which I didn't really care for. I always went with the differences as a distinction between lines. To call lessers the "cheap way out" though, just no. This little lady certainly wasn't cheap, and is an excellent example of what the lesser gene can do when combined with enchi.

    Can't really say why you see more lesser than you do butter. Probably just based on what people like and are breeding.
