    Getting my first BP!!

    Hey guys!
I'm working on purchasing my first BP and wanted some input from the kings and queens of ball python rearing on which morph I should get my hands on first?
Mainly wondering which one would be the best to start out with if my intentions are to breed/and start a collection?
    Thanks!!

Congrats on your potential new family member!

I think a good thing to ask yourself would be what morphs do you like, what do you want to produce? What do you want in your collection? I myself loooooove bumble bees and all their morphs, so that's right where I started mine.

I'm really starting to love the bumble bees as well. I think I'll start my search there

If you are just going to be breeding for fun, and to hopefully offset some of the cost of keeping snakes, like many of us, pick what you like and see what you can do with it. Not many have the money to drop on the latest and greatest to try and keep up with the trends. And keep in mind, you're going to be practically giving away any normals you produce, and with the investment you'll have in incubating them and feeding them, you'll be at a loss on them almost no matter what, so whatever you can do to reduce the odds of normals, the better.

Start with Females as they take longer to get up to breeding size, don't skimp on genetics try to find the best examples of the morph to buy, and as the others said start with what you like.
    Cheers, Jeff
