it seems like they struggle more when swallowing prey backwards. it's like against the grain or swimming upstream but it all works out fine with smaller prey.
here's my girl eating a fuzzy backwards.
my normal girl even swallowed a prey sideways when she was younger.
it took a long, long time tho and it looked very uncomfortable. i was so close to pulling the fuzzy prey out of her mouth.
