Today my wife and I vended our first show, it was a blast we sold almost 20 snakes made a few friends! We prepared as well as could be got a square card reader that we used once, Used a ton of hand sanitizer, A banner, business cards, lights. I think we looked very professional.
My favorite part was the kids getting there first snake from us! It was a honor starting them off on a positive note, Knowing that we helped grow the hobby and i did my best to make sure they had good set ups, I'm sure their snakes will thrive. There were a few moms that were afraid of snakes that held our babies that seemed less scared in fact one of them bought a second bp for herself! Giant win! One set of parents wanted to teach their son about business and bought him only animals that he wanted to breed. He got a pair of sulfurs that should go this year. He really wanted to make a white snake. I hope he does! We traded a lesser bee female for a pair of cherry head red footed torts that are adorable!
All in all it was a positive experience and we will continue to vend.
