Alright so, I just got my snake about 2 weeks ago. He's around 80g. He's being housed in a plastic tub, with UTH and thermostat + thermometer. The temps are 88-90 on the warm side and 78-80 on the cool side, with humidity around 60%. He has 2 identical hides, paper towel substrate, and crumpled up paper towels around the edges of the enclosure to fill any empty space. His enclosure is in a mostly quiet room, away from noise/movement. For these past 2 weeks, he seemed really content. Remained in his hides all day long, only occasionally coming out at night or to switch between the warm and cool hide. He has eaten 1 hopper mouse for me since I got him (last friday/1 week ago).

A few days ago I realized he was going through a shed cycle (it was hard for me to notice since I don't have much experience with him yet), so I bumped the humidity up, but then pretty much just 1 day later, he already began to shed off his skin and it came off in pieces but it all came off, eventually, after he worked really hard trying to get it all. So today is the next day after that bad shed, and he just won't stop roaming around. He was roaming to get the skin off for a long time, and now it is off, but he's still moving constantly, up and around the sides of the enclosure. He hasn't gone into his hides at all. I'm getting really concerned. I thought my husbandry was good, he seemed so content before. Today marks 1 week since I last fed him. Is this stress or hunger or what could it be? Have any of you experienced this before? I've tried searching for an answer but nobody seems to have had quite this exact experience before.

Also, should I attempt to feed him today or just leave him alone?
