    New Rosy Boa concerns

I am a first time snake owner with a 1 year old Rosy Boa. I have had her for a little over a month. She has been great, moving around, eating regularly, and getting more comfortable with being held. The last time I fed her (about 5 days ago) she went into her hide in the heated side of the tank, as usual, but then when I checked on her about an hour later, I noticed she had buried herself (aspen substrate). I wasn't too concerned because I've heard rosys like to burrow, but she still hasn't moved (except to go further in and out of her burrow) almost a week later. Is this normal behavior?

Is she getting ready to shed? My ball disappears for about a week then she appears after making a big mess and looks like a new, beautiful ball python!
