Uh oh
How large is your BP?
I have a 30 gallon for a 2.5-foot Ball, but it's not intended to be her permanent enclosure. She seems to do just fine with it (it includes her cool hide, large water bowl, warm hide with UTH and another hide on top of that) but I'm definitely moving up once she hits 3 feet.

The big thing with Balls is that they really need somewhere to hide. Rubbermaids are good just so long as you have plenty of hidespace and can keep it adequately heated; they tend to hold in heat better than a standard mesh-top aquarium (like mine) so you would do well to invest in a dimmer for the heat lamp/heat pad or UTH. I keep my UTH on 24/7, but this is a layer of newspaper and substrate. BPs don't generally need to get out and crawl all over constantly, so a good variety of hidespaces are excellent for these guys.
Good luck.

I've got all my bp's in rubbermaid setups. I personally wouldnt trade them for anything ( although i would trade for an AP or Boaphile ). I use a combo of two hides, waterdish, and fake vines to cut down on the amount of space the bp is visible from. It creates a nice secure enclosure. Heating and humidity are easily accomplished with a human heating pad on the warm side and the water bowl provides enough humidity.

Compadres, it is imperative that we crush the freedom fighters before the start of the rainy season. And remember, a shiny new donkey for whomever brings me the head of Colonel Montoya.
