yeah, i get nervous when they get too close and it becomes that staring contest. Fiyero was actually bit on the head during one of his first feeds. totes my fault. i gave him a too big of a mouse, so he was punching above his weight class. here's some pix.






the mouse was strong. it kicked and moved him around the tub. he still killed and ate the mouse tho. he healed nicely and the mark came off during his shed and not noticeable at all now. but it hasn't scared him at all, he's still a killer when it comes to live prey.
