Is anyone else surprised by how much they love their snake?

YES. The love for my snakes is ridiculous but yeah, the worrying is exhausting at times. It drives my husband crazy when I worry about the snakes... And to think I want more! He always makes fun of me when he starts hearing the beep of my laser thermometer as I check all the cages and tubs.

My love for my snakes feel almost unfair because I know my emotional attachment to them is nothing like they feel for me. All I hope for is that they feel comfortable and safe in my care and that I can provide for them what they need and they know they are safe when they are with me! But still, I love them so much, it's stupid. They are my babies!
