Something is going on here. Thoughts?

Purchased this character off a local forum. Supposedly, pairing was Liesen Trick-Black Pastel x Pastel 50% het Pied.

I'm not sure what I see going on. I see pastel, but there are some crazy flames, color changes, the belly is nuts....

Thoughts ? I apologize in advance for the pics. He was very darty.

If I were to take a guess, it would be a trick pastel but I doubt that there is black pastel.

I don't know anything about Trick pastels but I know if I saw that, I would want that.

The pastel is there no question. But what else?

He really doesn't have much resemblance to the WOBP trick pictures. Not even the morph tricks. His pattern isn't crazy enough.

I'm going out on a limb here, and say that is a pastel het pied. If one parent is 50% het pied, it is possible he carries the gene. And, I do know that every now and then, the het pied gene can really pay havoc with a morph.

I'm not up on the Trick either but one of my first thoughts was a Granite Pastel.

Goes to show what I know, the Trick reminds me of a Granite too LoL

I don't see trick in him butn I have to agree with angllady2 if you hit the odds and got het pied it will do some crazy things to a pattern
