Revised breeding plans, need opinions.
So after much research and debate, I've come up with a future breeding plan/schedule. However, there is one pair id like a little input on.
My plan is to pair a banana lesser bee male with a mystic pinstripe female, and a cinny calico female. However, for my last pairing, I can't decide if I want to pair the male to a pastel enchi female or a super pastel female. I want to introduce pastel into my lines, so I'll be happy with either female, just can't decide which one would be best.
Any more experienced breeders have any input/advice for this pairing? I was debating on either getting a hypo pastav e banana male or the banana lesser bee male, pretty sure I'll get the lesser bee, any inputs on the male I should get would be great too.
Thanks guys.
Bellissimo Ball Pythons
0.1 Normal
0.1 Pastel Piebald
0.1 SuperFly
0.1 GHI
0.1 Albino
1.0 Albino Stinger
1.0 Banana Spider
1.0 Pastel Savannah
1.0 Pastel 66% Het Pied
More coming soon...I'm sure.

As for your male it's just if you want spider or hypo. Spider will give immediate results, while hypo will extend breeding plans into the following year(s) to get maximum results. Yes the banana pastave will give you pastel as well, but your already getting a girl with pastel, so not getting the banana pastave wouldn't totally remove pastel from your avaliable genes.
As for getting a pastel enchi or a super pastel. Get the pastel enchi. Yes super pastel will ensure that the babies are pastel, but pastel enchi will give you another gene. Imagine a pastel banana enchi lesser. On the other hand I may just be biased, I think everything should have enchi!

I personally would go with the pastel enchi over the super pastel, super pastel will throw pastel to all the babies, but I'd rather have enchi in the collection and the chance to have the mom pass on two genes instead of just one(even if some babies won't have pastel in them.)

Re: Revised breeding plans, need opinions.
Thanks for the input guys.
I think I'm pretty much settled on the banana lesser bee male, I LOVE the lesser gene and definitely want to introduce it in my lines.
And thank you for the input on the female. I wasn't sure on that one, but I think from the beginning I was leaning towards the pastel enchi, just needed the extra motivation to convince myself
