    just getting an AVID microchip will be your best bet then, this way if found it will be identifiable and the burden of proof will be with you should you proceed to prosecute.

    Of course, you can do as I and keep what you have under wraps to those who live near you. Keeping your location protected and inventory secret will help you reduce any and all threats of theft. Then again, I haven't heard of many giant constrictors being stolen lately, just back in the day when it use to be a gang initiation (at least in my part of the world)
