Albino vs. albino
I was cage cleaning, and decided to put my red 2012 T+ male (Ginger) next to my didn't turn out red at all 2012 T- male (Cane) and snap a picture.

Very nice animals's! T+'s are my faves but your T- also has some nice patterning going on... Sorry he didn't turn out as red as you would have liked.
Do you mind me asking about how much they weight at this point?

I generally keep mine on the lighter end, especially with the males. The T+ has grown way faster and is a bit over 10 lbs, and the T- is about 7.5 lbs. I realize that's nowhere near as fast as a lot of people grow them up, but I'm fine with that. They are both pretty full and ready to poo in that pic, though.

Thanks for the info! I'm still on the fence about adding a blood to my collection, mainly due to potential weight. Your animals look healthy and don't seem quite as "fat" as some other STPs I've seen.

I don't mind growing them up a little slower. They still get big. Here's generally the body shape I aim for. These are two I got as babies in 2002. The male is about 5'8" and 20 lbs, the female 6'4" and 24+ lbs. I see a lot of bloods this length that people give weights of over 30 lbs for. I prefer them where they're at now.
Male (Cinnamon)

Female (Caramel)

A little update: with the shorter days, my males have been getting restless - except for Ginger. I've noticed that 'his' behavior wasn't like the other boys - there was no reaction when I'd put him on the floor for cage cleaning where a female had been, etc. The other boys always got very interested. I never checked the sex on this one, as I originally had no breeding plans. I got some help last night (it took 3 people), but 'he' probed female! I can't say how helpful this is for my breeding plans! It'll be much quicker raising up a male for her than a female if Ginger was a boy. I really want to produce batik T+ bloods, so I plan to pick up a male batik T+ or het soon. Yay! At least I'm not still paying on the goldeneye I bought in March...
