    Tick on a ball python?

So a few minutes ago I heard my ball python rustling around in tank at first i thought i had forgot to lock the tank then i noticed she was squirming around it was obvious she was in discomfort so i got a good look and i seen a bug running around her body so i grabbed her out and i saw it was a tick as i tried to grab it with paper towels it went under her scale and tried to bite down i grabbed tweezers and carefully pulled it off is there anything else i should be worried about after that

It happens from time to time depending on where you are, how your snake is housed, and where you go it from. I'd throw a diluted betadine wash on it, but that's just me.

do u have multiple snakes (or reptiles)? u should quarantine your snake with the tick and get clean out, sterilize it's enclosure, hides, etc. also look your snake over carefully and have some Reptile Spray on hand for more ticks, mites, etc.

Ticks are commonly found on Wild Caught animals, not on captive bred.

What you find on captive bred animals are mites.

Is your BP a wild caught?
