I agree with the advice above. They know better than we do about what temperatures they prefer. Just because you have your hot spot at the perfect care guide 90°F doesn't mean that's what your snake is going to prefer. One of the reasons we recommend providing a temperature gradient is because snakes can't read care guides and will make themselves comfortable where they want to.
I actually find it amusing to open tubs of those who have hides and see where they've moved them to. I swear some of them move them daily just to say they've accomplished something.![]()
