What is he doing?
Just got home from work to find my male (at least I was told he was a male when I had him probed by someone who breeds boas) laying like this. I know females do this sometimes when they in the ovulation process, but as far as I know he's male. I never tried popping him as I don't think I have the experience to do it without accidentally hurting him. Husbandry is fine, fresh water, clean paper towels. Is this just odd behavior? Don't mind how fat he looks, this guy doesn't like to poop for 3-4 weeks at a time. 😐

Without knowing your feeding routine, I think you may have inadvertently answered your question in the last sentence. Looks like he is a little bloated, and might be trying to work something out.

That could be it I suppose, he eats once a week. Last meal was Friday night

Just looks like he's laying there to me. Not abnormal.

I've just never seen him lay belly up like that, oh well. Pulled him out and he looked like a sausage, but seemed perfectly fine lol

That's what I'm thinking lol, pulled him out tonight for a cleaning just to find a couple urates. No poop though. This guy literally waits 3-4 weeks inbetween poops 😑

Temps are fine, 87ish on the hot side, 78-79 on the cold side.
