Place the moss in the hides. During shed keep it moist. While not in shed allow it to dry out before making it moist again.
This will create a micro climate inside the hides and provide your snake with all the humidity it needs. The overall humidity will register low in the tank but it will be plenty high in the hides and should give you perfect sheds.
I have done this for years.
