Kevin McCurley's book? The Ultimate Ball Python: Morph Maker Guide? If you mean that one, I have a copy and I love it. The pictures are high quality, there are some good back stories on some of the morphs (atomic, orange dream, etc.) and the book is great for learning genetics. It's awesome eye candy and I love being able to look at four combo morphs on one page and choosing what I like best. It really introduces you well to combos you would never imagine trying. The book is poorly organized, but once you get used to the format, it's not terrible. I like pulling mine out to flip through it when choosing what snakes I want to add to my collection next. Personally, I think it's worth it. Others may disagree.

If you want something more on care and breeding, try this book instead. It's a lot older and the genetics stuff is a bit outdated, but I find it useful for other things. I know I'd look to this book for assist feeding tips, incubation and things like that.
