    Rodent mites quick question?

So recently I was cleaning some rodent cages and found mites I was wondering if they are transferable to my snakes? Note: I am not feeding these rodents to my snakes and the rodents are in a separate location but I'm wondering if Its possible they could get on me and move to my collection? Or if rodent mites are host dependant?
