bcrc229 My situation was the Snake that had the mites was in quarantine and I was careful Next thing I know Mites on my snakes in the Snake room even with my rules. I may have gone overboard but the house was really clean its been 5 months no mites Awsome. The Positive side I got a education with some great hands learning....

Mites travel at about a foot per hour so one could have travelled from your QT area to your snake room under its own power, unless you treated the heck out of the doors and floors in each room.

Re: Treating Mites Advice
I just got a hatchling in with mites. i quarantined him of course but it it safe to use the PAM on a paper towel in his tub? And is Reptile Relief safe on hatchlings? He's had first shed and 3 meals with the breeder.

Wash every thing and divide your collection in two rooms. After a few weeks make sure one half of the collection is mite less. Move them to a "clean room" then just repeat the process for the second half
