    Re: Picking up my first ever BP.

    For A 70 Grams BP I would get a 6 quarts shoe box, aspen bedding, UTH, Thermostat, Digital Thermometer/Hygrometer, 1 Plastic flower Pot Saucer (hide), Water Dish.

    Once the animal put on some size about 150/200 grams move it to a 10 gallons tank if this is the route you want to go, which you will have to upgrade as it goes.

    Do not buy a 30 gallons tank for a 70 grams hatchling it will be way to big.

    And remember the priority is to get the animal to feel secure and start feeding for you so while you will be excited about your new addition remember to let the animal settle for a week (no handling) and offer food at the end of that week.
