Heheh, definitely helps that the snakes are purdy.
In photography, it's 95% the composition, lighting, and post-processing though. Big secrets. I could show one of my before and after post-processing comparison, but I'm afraid it would pop the bubble. LOL

Ha! Yeah I can understand that! I'm actually a graphic designer and I do a lot of photo retouching, but there are certain things that the only thing I will touch is the lighting. Still, you do what you do very well. Your snakes look gorgeous, as I'm sure they do in real life, just with a little help. 😉

I figured that I've waited a decent amount of time before spamming everybody again.

Just straight up pattern and color photos. I will now wait a month or two for them to grow a distinctly larger before posting again. But Cake definitely can't fit his whole body on the tip of my fingers anymore, like when he first arrived.

Yas! I should make a quick progression thread for her too. =) Probably will only be updating for that one every 3 months or so though.

He is! Cake is my reforming snake activist... showing a new perspective to people meeting him who normally dislike or fear snakes hahah.

    Throws a million feeding photos.
I was given a black mouse today and got to watch it go down his weirdly transparent body. I snapped progression photos. Snakes do the weirdest things.

Cake is also the most insane eater for live prey, and yet he won't touch F/T at all. He seems to have memorized both the day and time of day when he gets to eat. Every Monday or Tuesday when I come home at 6pm, the second he sees me, he rises 10" straight up out of his hide and stares me down in preparation for the mouse. And he slams it within 1 second~5 seconds every time. He doesn't do it Monday mornings or Tuesday mornings, only when I come home after work.

    Eating ANIMATICS.

    LOL

    Talking

Updated photos of this golden lemon puff. I can't keep myself from posting less than once a month... trying to gradually keep it every other month. (Anyone who happens to follow my pet tumblr has probably already seen these!)

So here's to hoping this golden boy doesn't fade too much with age. It hasn't happened much yet, but he's only 4 months old.

A hipster snake always slithering around on my laptop. Probably for the warmth. Or staring at my Backstreet Boys wallpaper. :U

A crude iphone selfie of his growth in girth compared to in June!

And his weight last week. This celebratory dessert has grown pretty fast.

(And a recent photo of Vigil, my Dumeril's Boa... for good measure)
