    Serpentine Obsessions caging systems.

So I was walking around the Raleigh Repticon show today and came across a new vendor I hadn't seen there before selling LED lit, XPVC, display type caging systems. They had brought a nice selection of different designs and sizes and I took a few minutes to check over their quality and fit/finish as well as talk with Paul, the company's owner. The company is Serpentine Obsessions (www.serpentineobsessions.com) and they are out of Raleigh, NC. Check out their site for more details on designs and pictures, my favorite pic is #72.
I can say the quality looked really good and the prices seemed in line with similar caging produces I've seen before. I don't use display type cages for my BP's as I prefer the ease of a tub rack but these had me thinking that a few would be fun once we get into our new house in the fall to display some of my morphs that people always "ooo" and "aaah" over such as my Pied and Coral Glow.
    Cheers, Jeff

That's what I was thinking with mine. It sucks having to pull stuff out the drawers when u show people. I also enjoy being able to sit there a d see them all at a glance. Those look really really nice!I like the little archways!

    I made my own.

I used 1/4" pvc sheeting for the top and bottoms

The sides and middle divider I used 100% pvc outdoor trim/molding.

And some strips of lexane I had laying around.

I think they turned out great. But I only did this because I couldn't afford professional made ones. Those look awesome. The lighting they use looks really clean too

Used 2 foot sections of rope lighting. Some of my cages are doubles and the rope just goes between the 2 sides and out through a hole with a plug on the left side. I used these because they're only 3 or 4 bucks each. I wanted to use nicer lighting but it wouldve cost an arm and a leg

Is there any way you could walk us through the process of building yours? Materials list and such? How much did it cost, roughly? Thanks!!!! Been wanting to buy a custom set from serpentine obsessions and haven't been able to afford it yet, but definitely want to get mine out of their sterilite containers

Ok. I happen to have pieces cut already to make 2 foot enclosures similar to the 4 foot ones I pictured. Give me a few mins to take some pics

    Re: Serpentine Obsessions caging systems.

When you were looking them over did you happen to see how the SlimLine series cages were heated?? I had in the past Animal Plastics cages. Since I am mostly into smaller snakes, I divided their 4' x 2' cages, but that was a bit more space than I need for the average corn so I ended up selling those cages and moving the corns and kings back into 20 longs. Problem with those is I can only fit three on a rack so it severely limits my snake space. A 60" tall front opening "rack" of six 20 longs is like my dream.....
