Angry thermostat not heating up uth

I have a habistat thermostat. It's hooked up to my uth. The temperature however, is steadily dropping, and is now at 84.7. Thats too cold for a basking spot!!! What do I do? Its a ball python enclosure that I'm heating.

The dial is set between 88 and 92, so about 90°.

The probe is taped to my uth. Tape is not covering the probe though, I only taped the cable. It is in the middle of my uth, on the outside, not between the glass and uth.

Are you running a herpstat 1,2, or 4? If you're running more than a 1 make sure you're plunged into the side you are using your prob on, also make sure you programming corrispons to your desired temps.

I.E make sure your using prob 1, that you UTH is hooked up to outlet 1, and that you have it all set on configuration 1.

If this doesn't fix the issue, just plug the UTH into a wall outlet to make sure it heats up and is working correctly.

if it heats up and isn't working on the HerpStat, take the fuse out and make sure it's not blown.

If this doesn't help, send pictures of your set up. And some more info

I'd put the prove inside the enclosure where you need the temp at a specific point. Verify the temperature with a second thermometer. Every set up is different.

I don't know how to get the probe inside the enclosure without drilling a hole in the screen lid. The probe cord is pretty thick

I will describe my setup, as posting attachments is not included in posting permissions. I have a 20 long, coconut fiber substrate. I have a hot side hide, a humid hide, and a big water dish on the cool side that my bp hides under. I have a 50 watt black night bulb on the warm side, and a 10-20 gal uth. Cool side temps are 77, humidity is 55%, and warm side is only 84. :/
