Red Tail Enclosure
Does anybody have any enclosures they could recommend for a red tail? A lower price, but good quality would be nice.
I've been looking through places online, I just have no idea who makes good quality stuff!
I was looking at Boa Master enclosures, the one I was looking at was this one; http://www.boamaster.com/index.php?r...t&product_id=7 I just liked the look of it, and it seemed like a good size. I'm not sure though.

There are many choices when it comes to housing a baby boa. You can go with a glass tank, plastic tub, or a pre-fabricated enclosure like the one you put a link to.
If you can afford it, you could go ahead and get the adult sized enclosure right off the bat. Although I don't normally recommend this, you can get away with it if you furnish the inside with enough hides and accessories to make the snake feel safe. Boas aren't normally prone to severe stress like a BP, but you still need to make sure that they feel secure.
Be aware that Boamaster enclosures are made of wood and are extremely heavy. I have heard good things, but they are a pain to ship. There are many companies that make PVC enclosures (Vision, Boaphile, Beeger Boxes etc) but they are going to be significantly more expensive.

Re: Red Tail Enclosure
I actually have a three year old female, so I'm definitely looking for an adult enclosure. Roughly what dimensions should I be looking for? My girl is currently in a tank, and is ready for an upgrade.
I will definitely keep all that in mind if I get that little guy!

4x2x1, 4x2x1.5, or 4x2x2 are the usual standards for adult boas. I very rarely come across an adult female that would truly necessitate anything bigger than that.
Boaphile makes a quality product, but you will wait quite a bit of time for delivery

I was going to say, I did see some PVC on their website.

I have mine and all my snakes in boaphiles, a pvc enclosure isn't cheap but 300-400 for a cage with heating that will set your snake for life isn't unreasonable imo.

Re: Red Tail Enclosure
No, it's not unreasonable. I just know shipping added onto that is rough because I live in Canada and all these places are in the States if I am correct.

Are you handy? You can build a 4x2 reptile enclosure out of plywood or even pvc for much cheaper than buying one.
