My first thought is to ship him ahead of time to someone who is already at your destination and you trust to pick him up and care for him. You can go to the shipyourreptiles.com website and read up on the proper , and legal way to ship your reptile. There definitely is a safe and legal way to do it. Less thing to worry about.
