Is he eating on a weekly basis? I got my BP back in April and her first shed was last week. If they're not eating, they're not growing, and not shedding. Fear not, just keep husbandry correct and feed on a weekly basis, and you'll get a shed.

She would have had to shed at least once shortly after hatching. When ball pythons hatch, they have super shiny, glossy hatchling skin, enough to make them look like they're made of plastic. They shed this off usually with in the first week or two. If memory serves, young ball pythons that are still growing will shed as often as every 6-8 weeks after that, but it's mainly determined by growth. Make sure your husbandry is on point and that she's taking food regularly, and you should see a shed coming up pretty soon.

Just make sure your humidity is about 60-70% during shed. If you see his belly start to get pink up the humidity to that %. I would feed him 5 days apart until he is about 500g.

When your snake is ready to shed, it will. I really wouldn't even concern yourself with the amount of times a snake sheds. It doesn't matter.
