    I found this very helpful! Will the snake not strike at the hand that's holding it? Or the hand that's moving to cover its head?

    Usually a snake will only strike or bite when you are approaching it from the front with a hand. Once you rub it over with the hook, you are able to approach him with your hand starting from the BACK. At that point you cover up the head and he will go into flight mode. You can then pick up the snake. Glad this helped you!
