    Clutch ID Help

Parents were Stingerbee x Lesser Yellowbelly Nazca

    Lesserbee

Pretty sure this is an Enchi Lesserbee...

    Stingerbee...

??? Not sure what to make of this one...

    Stingerbee + something? YB?

Any ID help would be appreciated!

A few belly pics...I'm not seeing any YB, although I'm not very good at picking it out...

    Re: Clutch ID Help

If I had to guess, I think the first stinger bee pictured may actually be a stingerbee YB, the 4th looks like a YB Nazca, and the last picture looks like a stinger bee. I am not really familiar with how the Nazca is expressed with the enchi gene in play being as it is such a reductive gene.

Thanks for your thoughts on the Stingerbees...hopefully a few sheds will help tell. I was thinking the same about the 4th one there, but he doesn't look much like a Yellowbelly Nazca I hatched out a few years ago...he has more of the usual yellowbelly look along with the Nazca neck markings and the usual yellowbelly back pattern throughout...the tiger stripping of the new baby has me confused...here's an adult pic and a few baby pics of the yb nazca I hatched out a few years ago...looks very different...

I see what your saying. Looking at yours and some other YB Nazcas that Jon Courtney produced, I agree it doesn't quite match. Even looking at Enchi Nazcas it doesn't look the same. I don't see Spider or Lesser so I wonder if it simply the Nazca gene expressed in a Normal. Given the pairing it pretty slim odds to get just a Normal Nazca but it's still a 1/16 possibility. Beautiful clutch whatever they are and I will keep posted. Perhaps Jon will chime in and clear things up.
