An adult king should weigh a lot more than 11 grams.
My adult kings are all in 40-breeder size melamine enclosures (36"x18"x15") and they have plenty of room. If you want to give yours room to stretch more than 36" then a climbing branch between opposite corners works.

Sorry. 11 ounces, so 312 grams. That sounds like a good size and yeah, he'd love a climbing branch! 15 inches isn't too high so if he falls, he won't hurt himself.

I have my kings in 40g breeder tanks and they have plenty of room. They're 600g and 800g each. I'll probably upgrade them to the AP 4x2's next year.

Thanks. How old are they? I wonder why mine is so itty-bitty. I adopted him from a store and they knew very little about him. He was dumped on their doorstep.

My MBK is the larger of the two kings. She turned 2 in April. My Cal King will be 3 in October but he only eats about 8 months out of the year.

Interesting. So my Khyan is likely a baby at 300grams. The store estimated that he was young.
Why does your Cali only eat 8 months out of the year?

Some slow down or stop over the winter. Mine do, I offer smaller prey and less often. Even if you keep their temperatures and humidity up I think they still sense the change in seasons.
They do get voracious in the spring.
