    Orange Dream?

Hi everyone! I hatched out this baby from a normal female. I only paired her with a champagne this season but she was bred to an orange dream the previous season and never laid. This years results were 1 champagne and 6 "normals", although I'm almost positive some of the normals are actually orange dreams.

My friend who has bred a lot of orange dreams told me that this baby is an orange dream but I'm looking for some second opinions before I call it an orange dream for sure! I'm also waiting on a few other possible orange dreams to finish shedding before I post pictures of them.

First picture is of the "orange dream" on the right next to a baby I'm sure is a normal.

    And some various shots:

    Thanks for any help!

It would be better with close up pictures in natural light but based on the little I see (color and Belly pattern) I will say yes on OD.

Can you take closer shot of the body, and belly pattern toward the cloaca?

Those certainly look like the signature tracks of an OD to me.

Thanks for confirming what I suspected! I will take more (better) pictures after the others finish shedding so hopefully I can get them all verified as orange dreams!

Please post pictures of yours when they hatch out! But yeah I'm thinking she's a little too clean and orange to not be an OD after looking at a lot of OD pictures…the difference between her and the definitely normal sibling is night and day.

Congrats! Orange Dream is definitely on my list. They just look so tiger-ish.

    Re: Orange Dream?

Another baby that I think might be an OD finished shedding and I also got better pictures of the hatchling I posted up above. These pictures were taken near a window in natural lighting, with the last picture of each baby being in full sunlight.

I noticed both of these hatchlings have very bold head stamps that I've seen on a lot of OD snakes. Is this a defining marker? Please let me know if you still think the first snake is an OD and if the second one is too!

    Re: Orange Dream?

Here are the last two babies that finally shed out. I'm thinking these might both be normals but they have the same belly pattern and banding as the OD's. The first one also has a super bright orange ringer. What do you think?
