    Unexpected offspring????????

So a buddy of mine who's a local pet store owner, bread a pastel female with pewter bee male(cinnamon/pastel/spider). Out of a total of 5 eggs two were infertile, and he ended up incubating 3 eggs. When they hatched he ended up with a killer bee, a cinnamon, and a lemon blast???????? The lemon blast died due to an issue with it's umbilical cord being wrapped around it's lower body cutting of circulation so he froze it. He wanted my opinion as I've been a breeder of ball pythons for a while now. I asked him has he owned the pastel female since she hatched and he said no. She's a lager female and between 3-5 years old. The only thing I could come up with is that someone may have tried to breed her to a pinstripe and it was unsuccessful, but she retained the sperm and when she went into ovulation this go around that left over pinstripe sperm fertilized and egg. I've never had it happen to me personally, but I know some snake species sperm live for half a decade or more. What do you all think about this wired offspring????

    P.S thanks for the responses!!!!!

If he didn't pair it to a pinstripe, the previous owner did.
