i have just changed to magezorb i don't know if you have it there but it is very light, thoroughly vacuum'd and much cheaper than the stuff i pay through the nose for in reptile shops. It is actually for horse bedding but the snakes love to bury themselves in it if you give them sufficient depth.
Another horse bedding is aubiose, double vacuum'd and made from hemp rather than wood. i haven't tried it personally but a lot of english keepers swear by it. incredible value at £10 for 20 kg. Or in your language $16 for 44 lb
