Ok so to keep this short and simple, I picked up a 2014 woma male at one of the Repticons last July. An entire year later this snake only weighs 210g or so. Another male mojave ball I got a few months later is almost twice the woma's size. The woma has become really undersized because the only food I have had available has been frozen/thawed and I have done everything I can think of to try and get him to switch. I had a friend who began breeding rats and that was a great solution for awhile (just left money in her work shed and took whatever rat I needed home). Then something befell the entire rat colony that necessitated euthanizing all of them. So now I am back where I started.
The right thing to do is to send him to a home that has live prey on hand or that is easily bought. He will slam live mice and rats equally; he only refuses already dead food (including prekilled). I've been at this for 12 months now and his health is paying the price. I'm quite certain he'd grow well and quickly once he's with someone who can get the food he needs.
I would ideally like to trade him for another ball python morph of some kind (Doesn't have to be fancy), a female baja gopher, a bullsnake, that kind of thing...or even a baby/young male BCI of any color. I just need them to be at least sometimes willing to eat already dead food. The little woma is VERY sweet, has never snapped, is quick to relax when out, is very curious, and one of the cutest things I've ever seen when he periscopes. He'll make an excellent pet for someone. I'm extremely wary of giving him away for free as animal flipping is a common practice here.
