    Lightbulb Breaking NEWS!!!!!!!! Alligator found.....

Channel 7 news reporting breaking news today at 12:00 p.m. that a 4 foot alligator was seen swimming in the Pasaic River, originally reported by a fisherman who spotted the reptile from the banks of the river. The reptile was captured by law enforcement and taken to a shelter. The report was that the reptile looked to be in good condition and was cared for by someone. They also think he was released by someone into the river who could no longer care for the animal. Another step backwards for al herp keepers and for USARK who tries to defend the hobby and the industry. Another irresponsible keeper who makes us all look bad!!

Don't people know that the only alligators in that part of the country are supposed to be living in the sewers?

How common are gators in NY? If they're pretty common it would be stupid for them to assume it was once a pet.

I bet it escaped from somebody's trailer house.

If you don't understand this comment search for a thread about a gator and a trailer.

Its not likely that they would be found naturally in the New Jersey area
