People tend to over-complicate everything with keeping and breeding bp's.
Sometimes they get wet, sometimes they don't. Doesn't matter. If they get wet I just use a paper towel to blot up some of the water and feed them off. If anything it gives your snake what's most likely a little needed hydration.
And Lizardlicks above has a good point about thawing them slowly, if possible. It's not absolutely necessary, but it does help greatly with avoiding blow-outs...
