At 4.5- 5 months old how long and round should a BP be on average ? I tried to measure my guy tonight and roughly got a measurment of ... 23 inches long and about 3.5 inches round ( midway ). At this age are they considered a juvinile ? Also should I maybe try to start him on small rats? One more ?? he is in a 20 gallon tank , Should I maybe go to a bigger tank ? Any advice would be Great....Thanks!!

You're definitely full of crap or mistaken. 23 inches sounds good, but 3.5 inches would be frikin huge even for an adult.

For a comparison: A soda can is only 2.5 inches thick.

I think he meant circumference-wise. So 3.5" really isn't very wide. Maybe a little larger than a quarter around.

Sounds about right tman. How big was he when you got him? How long have you had him? 04 baby? And .. yea .. as long as the rat is the correct size, go for it. Better to start them young anyway

Compadres, it is imperative that we crush the freedom fighters before the start of the rainy season. And remember, a shiny new donkey for whomever brings me the head of Colonel Montoya.

I've had him now for almost 2 months, he was roughly 17 inches long when I got him, and kinda skinny.
