Congrats! Even after hundreds of eggs, I still get that "happy kid" feeling when I see heads pipping!

Question: are their eggs always soft looking like that or does that only happen once they start piping?

They started looking more and more deflated the last couple weeks of incubation. Until then, they were bright, white, and round. This is perfectly normal from everything I've read (and now seen!).
