Not gonna lie, I'd be rude and talk to them about it, but I've apparently been too blunt lately for some people. My parents brought it up with their elderly cat in joking a couple years ago, and I offered my opinion quite openly. Not only is his grumpy butt still around and loving people, but their old cat and new dog got over each other.
