Racks?
Looking into getting a rack system for my two balls (and hopefully two more), want one that could house then as adults. Which do you use and which ones are the best?

Re: Racks?
Homemade rack is best and cheapest if you plan on owning lots of snakes, id put castors on the bottom to help move it for cleaning needs.

I bought PVC racks. I've had home made racks and I got tired of how they looked and having a lot of heat lost because the back and sides were all open. Some home made rack systems are really nice and work really well, others may take some tweaking, but cheaper than pre-fabricated sets.

RBI, Beeger Boxes, Boaphile, Animal plastics all make racks. There are multiple threads on here about them. I personally chose Beeger Boxes because they come standard with larger heat tape.

The only issue that I have with RBI is that in their large 41 qt tub rack system, they don't produce the product that they recommend. Using 4 inch heat tape on a 41 qt tub only covers 11% of the surface area of the bottom of the tub, even though they recommend around 25-30 percent coverage. 4 inch heat tape works great for the smaller tubs, but its just too little for larger tubs IMO. RBI has a great reputation, and I would have no problem buying a smaller rack from them. I just still don't understand why they cant bump up the size of the heat tape for their larger racks. Other businesses do it no issue.

Re: Racks?
If you are handy you could build your own for much less money. They're really simple. My 10 tub rack was less than $150 uncluding hear tape.
