How to tell when an albino is going into shed?

I understand the steps of a normal shed, most notably in the blue-milky color in dark BP' eyes.
I've had Cake (little albino male) for a week so far, honestly only handled him 2~3 times, so still not super familiar with the normal colors of his eyes and scales. I did take a few pictures of him today though. I had him out for a few minutes, and he was much flightier than last week.. hence my random suspicion about the shed?

For future reference, what's the clearest way to tell the stages of an albino BP going into shed?

IIRC, you'll see their bellies turn a pinkish colour when they are ready to shed

Its definitely harder to tell when an albino is going to shed. The eyes are a great indicator, but you can also find that their skin looks wrinkly and somewhat folded before the shed.

Thanks Josh! I saw that some of his scales would lift UP on the edges that his skin folds? Is that it, or is that something else...?

As keebs mentioned, the Albinos do turn a dull pink when they go into shed. Just keep looking for it and once you see it, you'll know what to look for next time.

Checked my Albino, but unfortunately he wasn't shedding. Here's a photo of him anyways.

Alright, I'll look for it- I'll take him out again in a few days just to check out the pink belly.

It's not just their bellies. The whole body is a dull soft pink.

Just a quick jump-in from me one more time: If you've only had him for a week and you've handled him 2-3 times, I'd say thats way too much. He needs time to settle in and get acclimated, so if you handle him, that's gonna stress him out and probably cause the flightiness! I don't think it really has much to do with shedding. Then again, I could be completely wrong, but that's my guess!

When my albino goes into shed, his eyes don't go blue. Since they're red, they just go milky and cloudy. Never blue. His body becomes dull and he has a pinkish underbelly, but I also notice a bit of pink in other places, namely his neck when it stretches.

I will have to get pics of him in shed next time so I can just post pics on these threads XD

The first time he went into shed, I had no idea. He was also my first bp, but I had suspicions because of the milky eyes.
