    Male bp

I have 5 ball pythons so far. I have 4 girls and one boy. Regular, albino, and calico enchi are the girls. I have a clown for a boy. Should I get another boy or girl? I was thinking pied for my last boy, or multi gene boy. Any opinions? Thanks.

I would keep learning for now especially since you have only owned your BP for about 2 months. Most people that get in over their head too fast usually end up having a collection sale in no time.

Work with what you have raise them breed them if those are your plans and see how that goes.

Thank you. Probably a pied female then. There is an expo next month in Austin which I am going to. My last two purchases were from Bob Clark. I may get another girl or two from him. So far I am happy with my purchases.

Take what Deborah said to heart, now. I ended up with nearly a dozen ball pythons within my first year and have been thrilled with all of them (2 are rescues, one was my first bought as a pet, and the rest I had breeding plans for). Unfortunately, life happens when you don't expect it. My husband and I are now expecting a baby, and I will have neither the time nor the space to manage a breeding collection and will probably have to get rid of more than half of my snakes.

Baby steps won't hurt, rushing into something and finding yourself unprepared very well might.

Thank you for the advice. I wont lose interest because it is not about the money. My thing is I love science. And I've always had a thing for mythical dragons. Yes sometimes I need to take baby steps but it is so exciting and addictive. Would you pass up a good deal? I don't want to purchase grown bps. I want to raise them with my son's. Thank you for your advice.
